In spring 2022, we finalised a two year contract of creating both play structures and slides for an indoor play centre based at Stockeld Park, Wetherby. The slides were made from S304 satin polished stainless steel as well as abiding by the European play regulations of EN1176.

It was Steel Line’s job to bring Helen Foot’s design to life as well as the owners of the park. This was achieved by the on-site team of Unconventional Design whom cladded each structure to suit its earthly theme. Such structures followed certain themes including space travel and the jungle.

The Play Hive opened its door for the first time on the 23rd July 2022 and is bringing much joy to families up and down the country.
