Project
In October 2025, Steel Line Ltd was delighted to fabricate and install numerous animal lecterns which were placed in the Shirebrook Nature Reserve based in Sheffield. The designs came from the creative minds of Eleven Design Studio also based in Sheffield with logistical help for the install being provided by the Sheffield City Council.
Each lectern was made from galvanised mild steel which was then primed and painted in vibrant colours to make them stand out in the reserve’s environment. The lecterns provide facts on the habitants within the area and can be used as checkpoints during a woodland trail walk.
It was a pleasure to be a part of such a fantastic project especially adding to Sheffield’s already fantastic green areas within the city
