Constructed from high-quality marine grade S316 stainless steel, this floor-fixed lifeguard chair is designed to be installed as close to the pool edge as possible, ensuring the lifeguard has full uninhibited visibility of all areas of the pool. Additional handrails and guardrails ensure the lifeguard is protected whilst working at height.

Chair Framework – Manufactured in 38mm diameter mirror polished S316L marine grade stainless steel tube, ensuring durability in harsh pool environments and a sleek appearance.

Side Ladder Access – Can be made with either left or right-side ladder access depending on your requirements, making it easy for lifeguards to climb up and down without restricting vital space around the pool.

Slip Resistant Treads & Platform – Black fibre glass matting covers the standing platform and welded stainless-steel treads for added safety during ascent and decent as well as improving visibility. Tested & approved in both dry and wet conditions via a slip-resistance test. Matting is pop-rivetted and glued down on each tread to keep secure within a marine environment.

Grabrails & Guardrails – Ensure safety while working at height, including in a standing position on the platform, and prevent items falling off the platform.

Plastic Seat – Includes a durable and comfortable white plastic bucket seat. Seat position is at approximately 1800mm above floor level.

Equipment Hooks – Two hooks allow for storage and easy access of safety/rescue equipment.

Floor-Fixed – Designed for close installation to the pool edge for complete visibility.  Three brackets on the rear legs for securing into floor-fixed holdfasts with screwed eyebolts (supplied with the chair). Chair also includes 2x adjustable front feet to benefit pools with sloped edges. Ensure suitability of your floor surface for fixing before purchase.

Usage Tips

• Always wear appropriate footwear.
• Ascend and descend carefully whilst correctly facing the ladder.
• Assess the suitability of this chair for your specific needs, especially regarding compatibility with your current floor surface and space allowance around the chair.
• Movement of the chair based on location, route & staff required for lifting should always be the responsibility of the leisure centre / customer based on the site risk assessment carried out by authorised health & safety personnel.

Note, it is the responsibility of the site / centre to train each chair user on the correct usage etiquette as well as informing on the required footwear.

Delivery Information – An order for 1x pool edge lifeguard chair will be delivered on 1x double pallet (2400mm long x 1200mm wide). It will be pink foam wrapped on the tubes followed by the seat being wrapped with bubble wrap & shrink wrap. The chair will also be banded to the pallet to avoid toppling in transit.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check the product within 7 days of the item being delivered on-site. Any appearance or damage issues reported after this timescale will be deemed as chargeable repairs.

All our products come with a 12-month warranty which cover issues related to the structure of the item or failure of the material. This does not cover damage in transit, accidental damage on site or vandalism.

Damage shortage or loss in transit

Unless the contract / order otherwise stipulates the risk in the Goods passes to the Buyer when the goods are despatched from the Supplier’s works and the Supplier accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss in transit.  Claims for damage or loss in transit should be made on the carrier and any conditions imposed by the carrier in relation to the claims for damage or loss in transit should be complied with:

• Where the contract provides for delivery elsewhere than at the Supplier’s works.  Risk will pass at the point specified in the contract and the supplier will entertain a claim by the Buyer in respect of loss or damage in transit only in the Buyer.
• Gives written notice to the Supplier within 21 days of non-delivery or within 7 days of the delivery of the Goods in any other cases.
• Where the Goods are transported by an independent freight carrier complies in all respects with the freight carrier’s conditions of carriage for notifying claims for loss or damage in transit.

Guarantee

We will not assume responsibility for corrosion or any other resulting damage to our products where they are installed in areas in which chemicals or salts are present and the cleaning regime is not followed.
