planters
Along with mainstream street furniture, Steel Line is able to offer a range of stainless steel planters that can be used to spruce up urban landscapes. They are also an attractive way of restricting vehicular access within pedestrian areas either permanently or temporarily.
Sheffield City Planter
This stainless steel planter was part of a range of street furniture that was commissioned by Sheffield City Council in 2003 as part of the City Centre refurbishment. Steel Line Ltd worked closely with the designers to manufacture a bespoke set of street furniture including these planters.
The unique shape and finish of these fits with that of the rest of the street furniture we manufactured for this project, which included litter bins, benches, bollards and cycle stands.
Circular Planter
Our stainless steel planters can be made to different designs depending on the location and customer preference. The circular stainless steel planter shown above is made to a tubular construction, however below you can see a design that is made from stainless sheet.
In a typical planter the main body is on a short plinth with at least a 50mm wide safe edge round the top perimeter. The standard finish of our stainless steel planter is either satin or bright polish.
Rectangular Planter
Our stainless steel planters can be made to different designs depending on the location and customer preference. The rectangular stainless steel planter is not offered in any standard sizes, but made to order against clients specific dimensional requirements.
Similarly to the circular planter, Steel Line’s designs put the main body on a plinth with at least a 50mm wide safe edge round the top perimeter. The standard finish is either satin or bright polish.
