INDOOR SLIDES | CHILDREN’S MUSEUM, BALTIMORE, USA
Children’s Museum, Baltimore
Roto, a leading museum planning & design-build firm, partnered with Steel Line to fabricate a 10M high spiral stainless-steel slide with polycarbonate windows for a children’s museum in Baltimore, Maryland.
The slide is being used in a new port themed exhibit in Baltimore, USA. The slide comes down in a spiral design with polycarbonate windows that allow for light into the slide as well as giving a visual indication of where the children are whilst sliding down.
The chute entrance is fabricated with tabs which allows for it to integrate with the netted climbing frame as well as fixing to the 10M high platform where the children would queue to gain access to the slide’s entrance.
