In April 2018, we worked with agency Taylor Bennett Partners and creative technical event production company Hawthorn to create a special stainless-steel slide for the Adobe Summit EMEA 2018 at the Excel, London.

Aiming to create a unique event experience during the Summit Celebration, the 6 metre high and 12 metre long slide saw guests descend into a UV ball pool. Twenty seven aluminium rings surrounding the slide featured 8640 pixels of LED tape, all individually mapped and triggered by infrared beams to deliver a never-seen-before-party experience.

The infrared beams, part of a bespoke system created in-house by Hawthorn’s expert team, also triggered a camera on the ride which recorded and uploaded videos to a special Adobe Summit website enabling quick and easy social media sharing.
