| Steel Line has been manufacturing
stainless steel street furniture since 1998 when the material
started being seriously specified for landscaping and public
realm work.
The range commenced with bollards diameter 76-256 and cycle
stands, the basic Sheffield loop. As demand for stainless steel
increased the product range increased to suites of stainless
steel furniture initially including benches, seats, litterbins
and lately stainless steel planters, fingerposts, tree guards
and grilles.
Over the years the company has manufactured stainless steel
street furniture products for a considerable number of street
furniture traders. This has given the company unrivalled manufacturing
experience across a wide range of stainless steel street furniture
designs.
In 2004 Steel Line was awarded a tender for the manufacture
of a bespoke range of stainless steel and bronze city centre
furniture as part of the regeneration of Sheffield City Centre.
