Stainless Steel Laboratory Tables, Formalin Dispensing and
Ventilated Specimen Stores
Steel Line manufactures a range of stainless steel dissection,
staining and trimming tables for hospital and commercial laboratories.
These ventilated downdraft dissection tables are used in histopathology departments
and can incorporate formalin dispensing systems either semi or
fully automatically.
The general construction of these tables in S316 grade stainless
steel, includes a sink, lever arm mixer taps and a perforated
worktop manufactured in sections which sits above the sump. Where
specified, in excess of 300mm of seated knee space is part
of the standard design and storage cupboards can be fitted to
the underside of the dissection table. Additional services to
the laboratory tables are customised to the requirements of each
client including:
- Remote wash down system for the sump.
- Hot and cold water retractable spray hose.
- Pathological macerator.
- Set of fine perorated worktops with safe edge.
- Height adjustment, hydraulic or electric.
- Sluice with flushing system.
- Formalin tap(s)
The laboratory tables can be ventilated with a rectangular
duct take-off in the sump or designed for linear extract. Alternatively
ventilation may be controlled by air changes in the room.
