Stainless Steel Construction Fabrications

Handrails, Balustrades & Canopies

Steel Line bespoke stainless steel handrail and balustrade systems are in use in office blocks, town centres, swimming pools, sea and river fronts and leisure centres throughout the United Kingdom.

Manufactured in stainless steel, brass and aluminium a wide range of options are available to designers and architects in terms of baluster profile and infill panels.

Glass, mesh, perforated sheet, tension wire and tubular mid-rails are amongst the most popular.

A choice of polished finishes is offered in brushed satin or mirror.

All stainless steel systems are manufactured to comply with the relevant British Standards, BS3049, BS5395 Part III and BS6180.

Stainless steel balustrades can be ordered on a supply only or supply and fix basis. On site the various sections can either be sleeve jointed and secured with tamper proof screws or welded together with the joints dressed and polished out.

Stainless steel handrails are generally wall mounted and made from 48/50mm dia tube.

A simple hoopstyle range of handrail/barrier rail is available in 48mm dia and 60mm dia tube. These are popular in swimming pools, car parks and in supermarkets as trolley bays and can be produced in a variety of lengths and heights.

Steel Line also design and manufacture staircases in a single, multi-level or spiral form. These can be in mild or stainless steel with options for tread design, including durbar plate, tray style or with supports to take wooden treads. These are normally installed in health and fitness clubs, retail and showroom premises.

Other construction industry fabrications include stainless steel entrance canopies in bespoke styles. Tubular polished and framed glazed types are most popular.
